ABRA Therapeutics was founded by Warren Raysor and Arie Raysor, both of whom have long and extensive histories in herbal research, formulation and education. Warrne Raysor is said to trace his interest in healing plants back to his early years, and in the 70s he began cultivating medicinal plants in his garden, as well as lecturing on organic gardening. According to the official website, he also began an herbal mail order company and founded a medicinal tea company.
However, it was in 1995 that he and his wife, Arie, joined their interests in order to create ABRA Therapeutic product line, which is devoted to giving people the “finest natural personal care products”. They have created a skin and body care line that may be found online and in retail stores. Let’s take a look at this line to see what it may have to offer.

ABRA Therapeutic Skin Care line has created an anti-aging line, which, like all of their products, is claimed to be based on “science of Skin Nutrition”. They use an extensive array of Micro-nutrients, which they believe are the keys to skin health. Their line contains products that supposedly cleanse, tone, exfoliate and moisturize the skin; and they are designed to be used after the morning or evening shower or bath, when your skin has been exposed to moisture. Their product line includes: Detox Complexion Wash, Astringent Toner, Alpha Enzyme Peel, Daytime Defense, Collagen 15, Hydrating Cleanser, Alpha Night Therapy and Alpha Enzyme Peel.

ABRA Therapeutic Skin Care line includes too many products to review separately, but let’s take an in-depth look at Collagen 15 and PhytoShield, which is one of their premier anti-aging products. Most developers try to augment Collagen production in some way in their anti-aging formulas, because as many of us know by now, Collagen plays a vital role in maintaining and restoring skin health.
ABRA uses Green Tea and Grape Seed Extracts, along with synergistic antioxidant vitamins to increase Collagen support and protection. It also contains Vitamins C and E to boost protection against environmental damage, as well as a 100% natural titanium UVA/UVB sun block to keep sun damage at bay.

Some women desire products that use all-natural elements to increase their skin health and to address aging issues. For many individuals it is a lifestyle choice, however, some people need the most potent elements available to address wrinkles and facial lines. ABRA Therapeutics may well be viable for those who have not yet begun experiencing signs of skin aging, such as wrinkles, facial lines, crow’s feet or sagging. The formulas in this line offer protection against free radicals, sun damage and environmental toxins. However, this is only one part of the reason why wrinkles start to form. Some women need formulas that use more potent elements, such as Matrixyl 3000®, which has been shown to decrease wrinkle density, volume and depth.
