AINHOA |
 |
Introduction & Overview |
Cosmética Cabinas is a Barcelona-based company, which was founded in 1996. They are the driving force behind AINHOA Skin Care, as well as a full make-up line. They specialize in developing, supplying, exporting and marketing professional product lines, as well as a retail cosmetic and skin care line. Many people in Europe know them as a developer of body and face treatments.
They have many different skin care lines, each of which contains numerous products, which are geared toward addressing different issues. We will take an in-depth look at this product line and their website to see what it may have to offer women seeking to increase skin health and ease wrinkles and facial lines.

As noted above, AINHOA has many skin care lines, including: Royal Jelly, Vitaminal, Sensitive, Aquasense, A.H.A., Avena, Luxe, Diamond and Olive, as well as many others. Many individuals equate their A.H.A line with anti-aging, and this line contains products such as: Cleansing Gel, Facial Tonic, Hydrating Cream Nutritive Cream, Lifting Mask and A.H.A. Gel Peeling.

 | Product in Focus |
We usually like to take one product and thoroughly review it to give people an idea of what the product line may be capable of; however, this company does not fully disclose their formulary at this time. Nevertheless, with the A.H.A line, they clearly use A.H.A in their formularies, so we will take a look of the role of A.H.A in skin health and in possibly staving off aging.
A.H.A is an abbreviation for Alpha Hydroxy Acid, which is an element that is derived from milk and plant-based sources. However, our findings show that most of the A.H.A’s used in skin care products are synthetically derived in labs. In a low dose, this element is a water-binding agent, and at a higher dose, it may exfoliate skin cells by breaking down the material in the skin that binds it together.
Glycolic Acid and Lactic Acid are believed to be the more effective A.H.A’s; however, some developers use Malic Acid, Citric Acid and Tartaric Acid, which are believed to be less stable and less skin-friendly. We have no way of knowing which one or combination of A.H.A’s is used in these products, which is troubling to us. However, our findings show that there is little research at this time that confirms their overall effectiveness in terms of easing wrinkles, facial lines or crow’s feet.

 | Website |
This website gives a good general overview of this company and its products, but it lacks detail as of review, which we find troubling, As noted above, they do not give individuals access to detailed information about the formularies used in each product, with the exception of their A.H.A line, but even here, they fail to note which A.H.A’s are used. This may make a world of difference in terms of effectiveness. This information is also important because some A.H.A’s have been shown to cause skin irritation, which is something many women may wish to know before trying a skin care product on their face.
|
 | Positives |
• Fairly extensive product line
• Onsite shopping option
|
 | Negatives |
• Does not disclose formulary at this time
• As of review, gives only an overview of products; lacks detail

 | Final Thoughts |
The AINHOA Skin Care is based in Spain, but the Internet has given individuals greater access to products on a worldwide basis. While we clearly have some issues with this developer’s lack of disclosure where their formularies are concerned, we are glad to see that they provide an easy-to-use ordering option. However, at this time, we couldn’t find any information regarding their return procedure or policy, which is troubling to us.
This is important, because some developers make it very hard for people to return skin care products, and this may be especially problematic when using a developer or manufacture based in another country. However, fortunately, there are some product developers that provide individuals with access to quick returns and quality customer care.
