Albolene® |
 |
Introduction & Overview |
Albolene® is a moisturizing cleanser. It is not a name of a company that promotes numerous other skincare and other cosmetic products. Instead, it is a makeup removing “cleansing concentrate” which also bills itself as an effective moisturizer. Its tagline is as follows: The Makeup Comes Off, The Moisture Stays In™. As such, those looking for a moisturizer with anti-aging ingredients may be disappointed by Albolene®.
There are a number of anti-aging creams and other topical applications available nowadays; however, we believe that when it comes to reducing the visible signs of aging, there may be better ingredients out there than what is included in Albolene®. Therefore, we will take a look at Albolene® Moisturizing Cleanser to conclude whether it may really offer the wonderful results it promises.

 | Ingredients at a Glance |
As of this review, there is an exclusive and official Albolene® Moisturizing Cleanser website. However, it does not seem to list the complete ingredients at this time. Our research on the product leads us to numerous retail stores. As per one of them, the following ingredients are included: Mineral Oil, Petrolatum, Paraffin, Ceresin and Beta Carotene. We are not able to verify whether this list is exhaustive, or whether Albolene® contains something more.

 | Ingredients in Focus |
Since there are a lot of beauty and skincare products on the market claiming to dramatically reduce visible signs of aging, some people may be confused by all of the advertisements and claims. However, we believe that at least a few of these products genuinely hydrate the skin, reduce line formations, increase the elasticity of the skin tissue and make us feel great without having to spend a lot of money. This product probably lacks fresh Collagen, which is the main connective tissue in our body responsible for developing new tissues, especially skin tissues.

 | Website |
We believe that the manufacturer could have gained our trust more if the website had more literature on the product, including the complete list of ingredients. We find a quality anti-wrinkle formula may also be backed by numerous and positive testimonials. We believe that a responsible manufacturer should have a strong and knowledgeable customer service program in place. Some credible and trustworthy manufacturers may even allow returns after their products have been open and tested.
Furthermore, the website refers to retailers like Walgreen’s and CVS; in other words, buying features are not available on the website at this time. We find this disheartening, since buying online effectively cuts the middleman, thereby reducing the cost price, not to mention the benefit gained by not having to drive to a store.

 | Final Thoughts |
In the end, we usually are wary of taking up a product that does not even have an official online presence where we may buy it directly. Furthermore, there is also the fact that the complete list of ingredients is not available at this time. Without such a list, it may not be proper to believe in the marketing literature. We believe a trustworthy manufacturer always goes the extra mile to ensure great customer service through proper dissemination of information.
Therefore, an alternative may be to research other topical creams. As we age, our supply of Collagen also depletes. The skin starts loosing its ability to replenish new tissues, and age lines and wrinkles start to form. When this happens, it is necessary to ensure that the skin is properly hydrated and moisturized. There are some effective products that not only contain Collagen, but also Matrixyl 3000®, a patented version of Pentapeptide, and come with an attractive return and refund policy.
