Anne Marie Borlind is a manufacturer of “natural beauty products, natural cosmetics and natural skincare items.” The company, which is apparently located in Germany, claims to “use only the most beneficial herbs and other natural ingredients founded in herbal folklore traditions.” This line of products includes a variety of products for both men and women.
We are not certain how “folklore traditions” are relevant to maintaining toned, wrinkle-free skin. While traditional “folk remedies” may be useful to an extent, we believe that modern science has also advanced the level of components that are currently available. It is our opinion that consumers would generally prefer potent, next-generation skin care products that are on the cutting edge of modern science to the rustic remedies used by their ancestors. We will assess this line of products for its ability to yield top-notch skincare and anti-aging results.

This company seems to feature a wide variety of exfoliating agents, moisturizers, anti-blemish products and natural cosmetics. While most of these products appear to be designed for women, it seems that some are marketed to men. Also featured are products for “body skin,” as well as spot-specific products intended for lips or the eye area. This company also markets a line of UVA-protection skincare products, called SunSunSun. This manufacturer pledges to use only natural or herbal components in all of their products.

For the purpose of this review, we will focus on one of this company’s main products, the LL Regeneration Series. This line of products claims to provide “defense against free radical damage, to prevent lines and wrinkles from forming.” This product is said to “gently cleanse your skin with extracts of calendula, chamomile (matricaria), sage, St. John's Wort, and witch hazel.”
We consider these ingredients to be rather commonplace and innocuous, and we doubt that they are likely to significantly improve skin. We were puzzled by the use of St. John’s Wort, which seems primarily to be used to address depression. We would have preferred to see some more advanced ingredients used, such as Argireline® and Matrixyl 3000®. These advanced components are designed to reduce the depth of wrinkles and restore collagen production.

We found this product’s Website to be professionally designed and quite easily navigated. There was extensive information provided about each product, as well as information about the company’s philosophy. We also found a great deal of biographical information about the founder of this company, Anne Marie Borlind. However, in searching the site at the time of review, we were unable to locate any information about the manufacturer’s return policy.
We find this to be significant, since many manufacturers do not allow consumers to return products that have been opened. It is our opinion that consumers should be able to try a product in order to assess its efficacy. We also would have liked to see consumer testimonials on this site.

| Final Thoughts |
For those consumers who have a particular interest in old-fashioned remedies, this line of products may very well satisfy that interest. However, we are not certain that these products contain ingredients that reap the benefits of hundreds of years of modern research.
We also believe that when a consumer invests in a skincare product, they should have some recourse, should the product fail to work. We encourage consumers to seek out products that allow refunds once a product has been opened.

Carol: I ordered Miracleburn cream that I found from this site. It had a good review. The product feels good and smells even better. I feel I am getting results and its only been 2 weeks.
