Shine Control Moisturizer by Bioré®, which also promotes numerous other skincare and other cosmetic products, is said to be a “lightweight, oil free moisturizer that absorbs quickly and holds off shine.” In the cosmetics industry, Bioré® has become quite popular; in fact, it promotes numerous skincare products under different lines. For instance, Shine Control Moisturizer is promoted as part of the Pore Perfect® Line.
There are a number of anti-aging creams and other topical applications available nowadays; however, we believe that when it comes to reducing the visible signs of aging, there may be better ingredients out there than what is included in Shine Control Moisturizer. Therefore, we will take a look at Shine Control Moisturizer to conclude whether it may really offer the wonderful results it promises.

We like the fact that the formula contains Sodium Hyaluronate. Hyaluronate may effectively retain skin hydration and lubrication, and is actually naturally produced by the skin. Nowadays, the ingredient may have become so popular as to be available as injection-based applications. However, this method may be very expensive, not to mention painful and requiring multiple visits to a qualified physician. The best way, we believe, is to use it in a topical form.
However, the product lacks fresh Collagen, which is the main connective tissue in our body responsible for developing new tissues, especially skin tissues. Nevertheless, we believe that there are skin creams with Collagen that genuinely hydrate the skin, reduce line formations, increase the elasticity of the skin tissue and make us feel great without having to spend a lot of money.

We like the fact that Bioré® products are marketed through an official and exclusive website. We feel that such an official online presence is a must in order to verify that the manufacturing practices are safe and reliable. However, we would have liked Shine Control Moisturizer more if the official website had also supplied testimonials that specifically applied to the product.
Actually, as of this review, there seem to be a couple of official Bioré® websites, and only the U.K.-based website lists Shine Control Moisturizer. The other U.S.-based website does not even list the product at this time. Therefore, we believe that the company may not have exceptional customer service commitments.

In the end, although we appreciate the fact that Bioré® lists the ingredients and has an official online presence, we are not so sure why Shine Control Moisturizer contains so many ingredients. The manufacturer also fails to list extensive testimonials at time of review. Also, we find it disconcerting that only the U.K.-based official website lists the product at this time.
Therefore, an alternative may be to research other topical creams. As we age, our supply of Collagen also depletes. The skin starts loosing its ability to replenish new tissues, and age lines and wrinkles start to form. When this happens, it is necessary to ensure that the skin is properly hydrated and moisturized. There are some effective products that not only contain Matrixyl 3000®, a patented version of Pentapeptide, but also Hyaluronic Acid and fresh Collagen.
