Ceramide C |
 |
Introduction & Overview |
Ceramide-C, by Rozge, is marketed as an “Age & Wrinkle Defying Serum.” The name actually invokes a product in a liquid form, specifically that of a gel or a cream to be applied topically. However, the product comes in a capsule form. Nevertheless, the product is not a dietary supplement meant to be ingested; instead, individuals are supposed to cut the tip of the capsule to get at the “serum” and apply it topically over the “face, throat and hands.”
There are a number of anti-aging creams and other topical applications available nowadays; however, we believe that when it comes to reducing the visible signs of aging, there may be better ingredients out there than what is included in Ceramide-C. Therefore, we will take a look at Ceramide-C, and such topical applications in general, to conclude whether it may really deliver the wonderful results it promises.
|
 | Ingredients at a Glance |
Ceramide-C contains the following ingredients: Tocopheryl Acetate, Squalene, Trihydroxypalmitamidohydroxypropyl Myristyl Ether (Ceramide III), Retinyl Palmitate, Chamomile Extract, Rose Hips Extract, Dimethicone & Cyclomethicone, Borage Extract and Grape Seed Extract. Although we like the inclusion of some natural extracts, we believe that the formula starkly lacks a number of proven ingredients, like Collagen and Argireline®.
|
 | Ingredients in Focus |
Tocopheryl Acetate, also known as Vitamin E Acetate, is a common vitamin supplement found in numerous such supplements. It is also commonly used in cosmetic products, such as skin creams and anti-aging creams. It is widely believed that the acetate plays a role in slowly hydrolyzing the skin once it gets absorbed. This phenomenon has been claimed to protect against the sun’s ultraviolet rays.
As to the plant extracts included in the formula, there may be claims that they retain skin hydration and lubrication the skin. Nowadays, such ingredients may have become quite popular. However, the dearth of scientific evidence backing these claims at this time makes us wonder if they really are anything more than conventional wisdom. We believe more in ingredients that have been scientifically advanced and proven to play a role in reducing the visible signs of aging.

 | Website |
We believe that the manufacturers could have gained our trust more if they had created an exclusive and official website on the product. However, we could not find such a website as of this review. A quality anti-wrinkle formula may also be backed by numerous and positive testimonials. We believe that a responsible manufacturer should have a strong and knowledgeable customer service program in place. Furthermore, it may not even be clear who really the manufacturer is and how they extract their ingredients.

 | Final Thoughts |
In the end, although we like some of the ingredients, we are not really sure about the product as a whole. For one thing, the concentrations of the ingredients in the formula are not even clear. The manufacturer also fails to list extensive testimonials that may be used to gauge the efficacy of the product.
Therefore, an alternative may be to research other topical creams. As we age, our supply of Collagen also depletes. The skin starts loosing its ability to replenish new tissues, and age lines and wrinkles start to form. When this happens, it is necessary to ensure that the skin is properly hydrated and moisturized. Instead of using harsh chemicals and unknown ingredients, it may thus be wiser to trust a proven, effective and patented formula. There may be some effective products that effectively boost the Collagen supply and continuously hydrate the skin tissues. The most reputable usually provide a generous amount of customer testimonials and are backed by a fair refund policy.
