Correctionist™ |
 |
Introduction & Overview |
The Age Correcting System by Correctionist™ is an “8-part skin care regimen” that is said to “go beyond the skin’s surface to treat and combat the signs of aging.” As such, the line of skincare products includes moisturizers, facial cleansers and skin serums. We like such an holistic approach, and are enthusiastic about a program that aims to “go beyond the skin’s surface,” especially in light of many makeup products that only aim to “hide” wrinkles.
However, we believe it may be too much hassle to follow any 8-step process. Furthermore, we believe that when it comes to reducing the visible signs of aging, there may be better ingredients out there than what is included in Correctionist™ Age Correcting System. Therefore, we will take a look at Correctionist™, and at topical applications in general, to conclude whether it may really offer the wonderful results it promises.

 | Products in Focus |
It may be worth noting that since the manufacturer dabbles in so many skincare products, it may be really confusing to decide which product to choose. This may be more so since the manufacturer does not seem to expressly promote one anti-wrinkle formula; instead, it offers a rather confusing array of “steps” that may merely be a disguise to promote numerous formulas. Furthermore, close inspection of these formulas reveals that the manufacturer could easily have combined their proven elements into one hassle-free formula.
For instance, some of the ingredients scattered in the different formulas are: Shea Butter, Algae Extract, Vitamins, Licorice Extract and so on. We believe that the industry already has many products that incorporate these secondary ingredients. Sadly, none of the formulas contain Collagen, Argireline® or Matrixy-3000®. Therefore, we believe that the manufacturer could have devised a really effective formula if they had only focused on creating a powerful one with proven ingredients.

As we age, the production of Collagen by our body also starts decreasing. As a result, our skin starts looking old and flaky, and wrinkles start to form. However, advances in science have found ways to reduce such wrinkles and rejuvenate the skin tone. Many products nowadays incorporate fresh Collagen derived from bovine, fish or plant sources. However, better products seem to go further and include scientifically advanced ingredients, like, for instance, Matrixyl 3000®, which has been specially formulated to boost natural production of Collagen by the body.

 | Final Thoughts |
We believe that a holistic approach is good for overall skin health. But when it comes to anti-aging, we believe an effective cream will probably suffice. Thus, successful and dependable manufacturers seem to focus on marketing only one effective product, rather than promoting 8-step programs. In these regards, we believe the Correctionist™ line fails to be impressive.
In the end, we feel choosing a skin rejuvenating cream is chiefly about the ingredients and customer service. We find the best products will definitely have ingredients that have been proven to not only lubricate and exfoliate the skin, but to also actively eliminate dead cells, thereby reducing the flaking. We like a beauty cream that contains Collagen, which has been found to be the primary agent in strengthening blood vessels and in developing new tissues, especially in the skin. Thus, many women may prefer to try a product with Collagen, as well as one that comes with a return policy, whereby even an opened product may be sent back for a refund.
