Introduction & Overview |
The skincare products by CoverBlend range from a supposedly anti-aging powder to concealers. CoverBlend products, as the name itself suggests, are more about covering up fine lines and skin blemishes, rather than correcting them from deep within. As such, we believe that their effects may only be skin deep, so to speak. Furthermore, as of this review, the product line does not seem to have an official website presence.
In short, we believe CoverBlend may appeal to those looking for temporary makeup products that cover fine wrinkles and deep lines. As such, it may not appeal to those looking for an effective anti-aging cream or lotion that gets to work beneath the pores for naturally healthier and younger looking skin. Therefore, we will take a look at CoverBlend products, and topical applications in general, to conclude whether they may be worth a trial.

 | Products at a Glance |
Some of the CoverBlend products are: Concealing Treatment Makeup with SPF 20, Corrective Leg & Body Makeup with SPF 18, Multi Function Concealer SPF 15 and Anti-Aging Finishing Powder. Although the products do not seem to have an official and exclusive online presence, some of the retail stores carrying them list the ingredients. Below, we will specifically look at the Anti-Aging Finishing Powder, and compare its constituents with some proven anti-wrinkle ingredients.
|
 | Products in Focus |
The ingredients in Anti-Aging Finishing Powder are: Talc, Gluconolactone, Methylparaben and Propylparaben. It is noted that it may also contain: Titanium Dioxide, CI 77492 (Iron Oxide Yellow), CI 77499 (Iron Oxide Black), CI 77489 (Iron Oxide Brown) and CI 77491 (Iron Oxide Red). As such, we could not find anything that may increase the production of Collagen. For instance, Matrixyl 3000® is an ingredient specifically formulated to boost natural Collagen production.
Since there are a lot of beauty and skincare products on the market claiming to dramatically reduce visible signs of aging, some women may be confused by all of the advertisements and claims. However, we believe that at least a few of these products genuinely hydrate the skin, reduce line formations, increase the elasticity of the skin tissue and make us feel great without having to spend a lot of money.

 | Website |
We believe that the manufacturer could have gained our trust more if they had created an exclusive and official website on each product. We could not even locate an official website for the manufacturer. An official website, complete with buying features and testimonials, may be a good way to gauge customer service commitments. Buying directly through the manufacturer online may cut the middlemen in the retail industry.
|
 | Positives |

|
 | Negatives |
• None of the products have Collagen or Argireline®

• No online testimonials on the products as of this review
• Return and refunds policies not clearly listed
• May not do much to actively reduce wrinkle formations and fine lines

 | Final Thoughts |
In the end, we could not find much to like about CoverBlend products. We believe they may merely be an affordable line of makeup products. For effective results, scientifically advanced ingredients, like Matrixyl®, may work wonders in naturally boosting Collagen production, rather than relying on temporarily concealing wrinkles and fine lines.
In the end, we believe choosing an anti-aging cream mainly boils down to whether one really desires to see results. We find the best products will have ingredients that have been proven to not only lubricate and exfoliate the skin, but to also actively eliminate dead cells, thereby reducing the flaking. Furthermore, we also like a beauty cream that contains Collagen, which has been found to be the primary agent in strengthening blood vessels and in developing new tissues, especially in the skin. Thus, products with Collagen and proven ingredients, like Sodium Hyaluronate, may be worth a trial.
