Cream of Cathay™ |
 |
Introduction & Overview |
Cream of Cathay™, by Sir Jason Winters, is an anti-wrinkle cream purportedly combining “Eastern tea formula with ancient herbs.” Sir Jason Winters is actually said to have “battled terminal cancer” with the aid of a blend of exotic herbal teas. With such a life story as his backing force, he then started marketing a blend of herbs, and dabbled in the production of a number of “health related” products. He is said to have been knighted in Belgium in 1985 for his “work in the health field.”
There are a number of anti-aging creams and other topical applications available nowadays that are based on such “exotic herbs.” We usually welcome such products; however, we believe that when it comes to reducing the visible signs of aging, there may be better, scientifically advanced ingredients out there. Therefore, we will take a look at Cream of Cathay™, and such topical applications in general, to conclude whether it may really deliver results as promised.

 | Ingredients at a Glance |
Unfortunately, as of this review, the official website offering Sir Jason Winters’ products does not prominently list Cream of Cathay™ in its product line. It just has about a paragraph worth of material on the product. It only mentions that the Cream contains Rose Water and two other ingredients found in the Amazon rainforests and in China. However, a few retail stores also carry the product, and they mention that it contains the following ingredients: Water extracts of Sir Jason Winters Herbal Tea, Pau D' Arco, Witch Hazel, Aloe Vera and Rose Water.

 | Ingredients in Focus |
As mentioned above, nowadays it may no longer be surprising to come across numerous products championing unknown and exotic ingredients. Most times, we are really skeptical of such exotic ingredients. However, we acknowledge that some of them may really have genuine health benefits. Nevertheless, we could not find any reliable scientific evidence that the ingredients in Cream of Cathay™ may reduce wrinkles. The official website also fails to post any links to studies and research at this time. We would have appreciated the inclusion of at least consumer testimonials or links to traditional usage of these herbs.

 | Website |
The fact that the official website for Sir Jason Winters does not explain at length the product may raise important questions regarding the safety of using the formula. We believe that a responsible manufacturer will expressly mention the strength of the extracted ingredients. Furthermore, we like it better when the exclusive and official website also sells the product through a secure connection. We also could not find testimonials for the specific product at this time. Similarly, return and refund policies may also not be expressly stated.
|
 | Positives |
• Contains simple ingredients
|
 | Negatives |
• Does not contain proven ingredients, like Collagen and Argireline®
• No online testimonials on the product as of this review
• May not be effective for those with high skin sensitivity
• No official and exclusive website for the product

 | Final Thoughts |
In the end, although we like some of the ingredients, we are not really sure about the product as a whole. For one thing, the concentrations of the ingredients in the formula are not even clear. The manufacturer also fails to list extensive testimonials that may be used to gauge the efficacy of the product.
Therefore, an alternative may be to look up and research other topical creams. As we age, our supply of Collagen also depletes. The skin starts loosing its ability to replenish new tissues, and age lines and wrinkles start to form. When this happens, it is necessary to ensure that the skin is properly hydrated and moisturized. Nowadays, scientifically advanced ingredients like Argireline® and Matrixyl 3000® seem to be gaining much consumer confidence. Matrixyl 3000®, especially, may effectively boost the natural production of Collagen. It is possible to find this combination of ingredients online at an affordable price.
