Dermelect® Face Serum is a liquid-based topical solution that may reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and other visible signs of aging, according to the manufacturer. The company says the product has also been formulated to restore moisture to the skin and improve skin tone and “skin firmness and luminosity,” among other purported benefits.
The manufacturer claims the product is based on all-natural ingredients, and that it may offer multiple health-promoting benefits, but its overall formulation may leave much to be desired – that is, compared to some of the higher-end, more reputable alternatives on the market. We will examine this product in depth to see what its potential benefits may be.

The product’s official website indicates that the product’s formulation may consist of some of the following ingredients: Hyaluronic Acid, Comfrey, Green Tea, Vitamin E, Avocado Oil, Jojoba Oil, Safflower and Chamomile. Supposedly, this formulation may offer “antioxidant protection for overworked skin,” in addition to “advanced moisture binding” effects.
We are pleased to find Hyaluronic Acid listed as one of the ingredients in the formula, considering it is regarded as one of the premium anti-aging agents on the market today. It is believed to be highly effective at retaining moisture and water in the skin, which may ensure a well-hydrated complexion. Hyaluronic Acid may also promote skin smoothness.

We are disappointed that the product does not contain other premium ingredients, like Argireline®, Matrixyl 3000® and Fresh Collagen, which are known to be especially powerful when combined with Hyaluronic Acid. Such a formula may minimize the visible signs of aging without subjecting an individual to potentially harmful side effects and other adverse reactions.
Unfortunately, the other ingredients in the formula may not be nearly as promising as the aforementioned group. Green Tea, Avocado Oil and Chamomile may have a soothing effect, but we are afraid its effectiveness for reducing the signs of aging may not have been proven. Such ingredients may be found in many other lower-quality formulations.

The manufacturer’s usage instructions are as follows: “Apply to skin after cleansing. Use one drop on cheeks, forehead, chin and throat. Follow with Dermelect® Rapid Repair Facial Moisturizer.” We find it odd that the company does not specify how many times per day women should be using it; this may be an important detail to know for our lifestyles.
Clinical studies enable developers to get a closer look at the product and see it in action, with particular attention paid to any potential side effects that may occur. Unfortunately, the product in question may not have been tested in clinical trials, so it may be difficult to ensure that the formula would come through as advertised. We hope this is addressed in the near future.

Dermelect® Face Serum may be marketed as one of the highest-quality anti-wrinkle formulas on the market, but we would like to see further evidence before jumping on the bandwagon and touting it as an excellent product. We would like to see a number of improvements made to the formula, and we would like to see more consumer testimonials posted.
We are also disappointed that the product may not come with a money-back guarantee at time of review. This would make it difficult for women curious about the product to buy it in confidence; even if it does not deliver advertised results, a refund may not be available. On the other hand, we find more reputable companies offer full refunds – even if the product has been used.
