The DISTINCTION® Daily Skincare System is advertised as “a six-piece anti-aging breakthrough system” to firm the skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The total treatment time is advertised as being under two minutes a day, and includes products designed for day and night application.
This skin care system is the newest option offered from DISTINCTION®, by Leigh Valentine. We will take a closer look at these products to see whether or not the system may be a good choice for women.

As mentioned, the DISTINCTION® Daily Skin Care System consists of six products, and there are just three steps involved for the daily skin care routine. The first step is to cleanse and tone with the Firm Essentials Cleanser and the Botanical Clarifying Toner; Step Two consists of firming and moisturizing the skin with DISTINCTION® Firmalift and Skin Renewal Booster; and the third step of the system is “boosting” the skin with the Refirming Eye Cream and the Rejuvenating Night Cream.
It is claimed each step should take between 15-30 seconds, according to the website. We will look more closely at the products below.

The Firm Essentials Cleanser is formulated with Apricot Oil and Glycolic Acid to deeply clean and nourish the skin, and the Botanical Clarifying Toner is designed to exfoliate and refresh the skin with herbal extracts, including Green Tea and Chamomile.
DISTINCTION® Firmalift is serum designed to reduce the appearance of wrinkles while firming the skin, and the Skin Renewal Booster is a daily moisturizer to hydrate the skin. The Refirming Eye Cream is formulated to fade lines and wrinkles around the eye area, and the Rejuvenating Night Cream contains a blend of vitamins, minerals and Collagen to repair, hydrate and firm the skin overnight.

The official DISTINCTION® website is relatively informative, posting brief product descriptions and listing details about the steps of the Skin Care System. It appears as if some of the active ingredients used in the products have undergone clinical studies, and details may be found on these tests on the website as well.
Women looking for a more complete anti-aging formula may wish to try a different type of product, perhaps one containing the clinically proven ingredient, Matrixyl 3000®, for increased Collagen production in the skin.

And overall, we do not see enough evidence that the Daily Skincare System will be most effective for fighting the signs of aging. Most of the testimonials we read referred to other products manufactured by the company, not those in this system. When looking for a product, women may opt to choose one that contains clinically proven ingredients to fight the signs of aging; those that contain Matrixyl 3000® may be desirable. This formula has been clinically proven to reduce the depth, density and volume of wrinkles. We suggest women seek products from companies that offer money-back guarantees and have received a lot of positive feedback from others.
