The Sea-Derived Skincare line of products by ~H2O+™ is marketed as containing Sea Mineral Complex™, which is said to be essential for healthy youthful skin. The Complex is to be applied topically and, the manufacturer claims, “protects the skin and diminishes the appearance of fine lines.” The big marketing point for ~H2O+ ™ Sea-Derived Skincare seems to be that the company, as well as the products, is based on ingredients derived from sea-based aquatic plants.
There are a number of anti-aging creams and other topical applications available nowadays; however, we believe that when it comes to reducing the visible signs of aging, there may be better ingredients out there than what is included in Sea-Derived Skincare. Therefore, we will take a look at Sea-Derived Skincare, and such topical applications in general, to conclude whether it may really offer the wonderful effects it promises.

We must mention that we fail to be impressed by the ingredients in any of these formulas. We believe more in ingredients that have been scientifically advanced and proven to play a role in reducing the visible signs of aging. For instance, Sea Results Anti-Wrinkle Refinishing Serum contains the following ingredients: Sea Mineral Complex™, Glucosamine HCI Complex, Anti-Wrinkle Peptides, Himanthalia, Spirulina, Nori, Vitamin A, Vitamin C and Vitamin E.
Although these ingredients seem harmless and may even have some moisturizing benefits, we believe that the formula starkly lacks a number of proven ingredients, like Collagen and Argireline®. The champion Sea Mineral Complex™, for instance, turns out to be merely a combination of minerals, like sodium, magnesium, potassium and calcium derived from sea botanicals.

We believe that the manufacturer could have gained our trust more if they had created an exclusive and official website on the product. However, to their credit, ~H2O+™ has a pleasing website as of this review. The website provides a complete list of ingredients and explains them. Nevertheless, since the company offers a wide array of similar sounding skincare products, it may be confusing to navigate and make sense of all the different formulas.

In the end, although we like some of the ingredients, we are not really sure about the product as a whole. For one thing, the concentrations of the ingredients in the formula are not even clear. The manufacturer also fails to list extensive testimonials that may be used to gauge the efficacy of the product.
Therefore, many women may prefer to look at other products and compare. Most times, a large manufacturer may have a number of similar products selling under different names, as in the case of ~H2O+™. We find such practices disconcerting. For one, it makes us wonder about the efficacy of the product in question. We reason that if the manufacturer were confident in its formulation, it would probably not come up with numerous variants. Thus, we believe that a great product will be exclusively formulated with scientifically advanced ingredients, and will have an attractive price to size ratio, as well as a reasonable return and refund policy.
