LUXIVA® Wrinkle Smoother by Merle Norman® is advertised as an anti-wrinkle treatment that is a skin cream. Merle Norman® is a cosmetics company offering a number of other similar products. As such, many of us may wonder why a cosmetics company would churn out a number of anti-aging skin creams. We believe more in a manufacturer that has one effective product with the proven combination of ingredients.
Thus, to many of us, believing in a manufacturer that alone offers over half a dozen skincare products for wrinkles may be quite a step. Furthermore, as of this review, we believe the official Merle Norman® website may not be up to par. Therefore, we will take a look at LUXIVA® Wrinkle Smoother, and such topical applications in general, to conclude whether it may really deliver the wonderful results it promises.

A few of the retail stores seem to carry the product, but unfortunately, none of them list the ingredients. However, it is mentioned in passing that LUXIVA® Wrinkle Smoother is formulated with Argireline®, which is a hexapeptide that smoothes out age lines.

That the product contains Argireline® may be a plus. Argireline® is the patented form of Acetyl Hexapeptide-3. However, besides the fact that the product contains Argireline®, nothing much is disclosed about its formulation at this time. We believe an educated buyer should reasonably expect that a manufacturer will be responsible enough to provide extensive information about their product.

We believe that the manufacturer could have gained our trust more if they had created an exclusive and official website on the product. However, we find an official Merle Norman® website as of this review. The trouble is that this official website does not seem to have buying features, and actually does not even list the ingredients. We find a quality anti-wrinkle formula may also be backed by numerous and positive testimonials. We believe that a responsible manufacturer should have a readily accessible and knowledgeable customer service program in place.

Therefore, we feel choosing a skin rejuvenating cream is all about the ingredients. We believe the best products will definitely have ingredients that have been proven to not only lubricate and exfoliate the skin, but to also actively eliminate dead cells, thereby reducing the flaking. Furthermore, we also like a beauty cream that contains Collagen, which has been found to be the primary agent in strengthening blood vessels and in developing new tissues, especially the skin tissues. Thus, products with fresh Collagen, along with scientifically advanced ingredients, like Argireline®, may be the best available.
