Lucerne Serum Wrinkle Erase Absolut |
 |
Introduction & Overview |
Serum Wrinkle Erase Absolut is created by Lucerne, which is a developer with a fairly extensive product line that is geared toward assisting people in addressing their skin care and anti-aging needs. This product is advertised as being a deep-penetrating formula, which uses “bio-active pure plant-derived peptides and organic alpine plant extracts” to ease wrinkles and facial lines.
There are many ways women may ease the signs of aging; some choose to use microdermabrasion, while others seek assistance from a dermatologist. Still other desire and need an approach which is topical and much more organic in terms of application. Let’s take a look at Serum Wrinkle Erase Absolut to see what it may have to offer.

 | Ingredients at a Glance |
The company webpage for Serum Wrinkle Erase Absolut does not disclose its formulary as of review, but through other outside sources, we discover that it contains Hyaluronic Acid and Hibiscus seeds. However, we are quite sure that it makes use of other ingredients, but are unable to ascertain which ones, which we find troubling. We firmly believe that people have a right to expect developers to make full disclosure where their skin care products are concerned.
We believe this is especially true for products used directly on facial skin. They say the formulary is available upon request, though we did request it, and we have not received it. However, we have to question why this information is not readily available, and why people need to request it at all.

 | Ingredients in Focus |
This formula was apparently created to be attractive to those who are looking for organic skin care products, who are looking to avoid using lasers, BOTOX® and injectable fillers to increase the appearance of their facial skin. This developer chose to use Hibiscus Sabdariffa Flower Extract to attempt to do this. While it may have some antioxidant, anti-tumor and anti-inflammatory properties, whether or not these benefits may be attributed to the flower itself or its components has not been established as of review.
Also, Hibiscus Sabdariffa Flower has not been shown to “eliminate repetitive movements and re-train facial muscles to counteract lines” as some advertising suggests, or increase Collagen production. The only element we know of that directly affects lines caused by facial contractions is Argireline®, which is not used in this formula.
We are disappointed that they do not use real Collagen to increase the body’s natural Collagen production. The more effective formulas team real Collagen with Hyaluronic Acid, an extremely potent skin hydrator, to directly increase skin smoothness, suppleness and elasticity, as well as fight wrinkles and facial lines.

 | Lifestyle |
This product is advertised as being a “safe, ultra-effective alternative to botox and drastic procedures”, however, it does not use one of the most potent anti-aging elements, which, in many ways, has been compared to BOTOX® –Argireline®. This element is an amino acid-based compilation, which has been shown to be extremely effective in reducing the depth of facial wrinkles.
It has been shown to be especially useful in addressing lines and wrinkles that form around the eyes, which are formed by contractions of facial muscles. In recent studies, it has been shown to relax facial wrinkles, which is why it is sometimes compared with BOTOX®. However, it does not have the muscle paralyzing side effects of BOTOX®, and it may be used topically.

 | Final Thoughts |
Serum Wrinkle Erase Absolut by Lucerne may well be exactly what some people are looking for, because it uses mostly natural extracts. However, using this approach may not ensure success, and as we noted above, the formulary may not be as potent as it could be. Also, the fact that they fail to disclose the full formulary, and the fact that it is only available upon request, is concerning. This is not just because it makes it hard to see if it may be effective or not; but because we believe it shows a lack of customer care, which may well carry over into other areas.
Online shopping is a great way to meet our needs without leaving home, but customer care and hassle-free returns are still two features we believe are necessary. So, we suggest seeking out developers and retailers that have a reputation for providing both.
