Vit A Plus Anti-Aging Lotion |
 |
Introduction & Overview |
Vit-A-Plus Anti-Aging Lotion is advertised to enable people to achieve their appearance goals by “improving the skin’s texture” and “reducing the appearance of wrinkles.” At the time we write this review, we are unable to find any consumer reactions or online testimonials to support its said benefits. We will examine this void later in the piece.

 | Ingredients at a Glance |
This cream contains many ingredients that may be highly effective at enhancing a woman;s appearance. These ingredients include: Glycerin, which has shown in some scientific studies to increase the physical endurance of rats; Retinyl Palmitate, known to reverse the effects of aging on the skin; and Xanthan Gum, said to be a strong moisturizer.
While these ingredients may be highly effective at assisting people in enhancing their beauty, we have some concerns with regard to some potential side effects that may result from use. We will examine these in the following section.
|
 | Ingredients in Focus |
Firstly, Glycerin is said to cause diarrhea, while it is reported that Xanthan Gum may lead to diarrhea, gastrointestinal discomfort and nose and throat irritation for some people who use it. While this list is short, we are still bothered by it, because we believe that women should be able to buy beauty products without having to worry about potential side effects that may result.

At the time we write this review, we are unable to find any consumer reactions or online testimonials to support its said benefits. This bothers us, because we live in a society that is perpetually obsessed with attaining the perfect appearance, as personified by various “modelesque” images by which we are surrounded in the media. Given this condition, we would think that this product would be the recipient of much praise. Since we see none as of review, we have some doubts and suspicions as to whether it may work as well as advertised, if at all.
In our line of work, we examine many products that are manufactured and marketed with the intent of enabling women to achieve their beauty goals. From what we have seen, the most popular of them contain Collagen, an ingredient that has received a large amount of publicity for its known ability to “freshen” the skin. We would steer our readers towards one of those first, as they may be better able to support their needs.
In our research, we have also found that there is a high correlation between consumer praise and media hype. There are products that have appeared in several nationally distributed publications for their said effectiveness. We would recommend that our readers search those periodicals for such products that have been mentioned.

 | Final Thoughts |
Vit-A-Plus Anti-Aging Lotion is marketed to enable women to regain the “youthfulness” in their appearance. And it may be able to do just that. However, we have some issues and concerns that we feel need to be addressed here.
Our most troubling concern stems from the fact that there is no consumer feedback surrounding this product. In our appearance-driven, appearance-obsessed society, products like this have become a standard in “skin enhancement.” Therefore, we would think that there would be a large amount of consumer praise to support it. Since we see none as of review, we question it.
Still, it may be able to work effectively for some people who wish to use it. However, there are several products on the market that contain Collagen, have a large amount of consumer praise to support them and have received a large amount of media publicity.
