Review
Summary |
Erosyn™ is a female sexual enhancement formulation that is said to “help increase a woman’s libido, naturally, and also works as an analgesic and anti-inflammatory.” This product’s active ingredients are said to “help to reduce the pain of sexual pain disorder.” The product is said to “rejuvenate the female reproductive system by promoting cell and tissue growth, and also works to maintain healthy testosterone levels.”
This product seems to take a rather odd approach to female sexual enhancement, addressing problems like “sexual pain” and “testosterone levels” that may not be applicable to some users. We feel that it may be unwise to uniformly interfere with testosterone levels, not knowing the individual woman’s hormonal balance. In addition, the use of analgesics, when not necessary, seems extraneous and possibly excessive. We will assess this formulation for its ability to truly augment female libido and sexual pleasure.

 | Ingredients at a Glance |
|
Although this product’s Website appears to provide a link to the product’s “ingredients,” it actually refers only in a very general way to the components in this supplement, stating, “The primary active ingredients in these Nokomis products are amines found in such plant foods as oats, cucumbers and radishes.”

 | Ingredients in Focus |
|
There is really very little we can conclude from this nebulous information, except perhaps that this manufacturer is not especially proud to announce its ingredients. It is our belief that a refusal to furnish a list of ingredients may be an indicator of an inferior product. This product’s Website actually seems to go on to “bash” a wide variety of other sexual enhancement ingredients, such as Ginseng, Muira Puama, Yohimbe, Guarana, Damiana, Punctervine, Avena Satina and L-Arginine, adding that their product is “nothing like” other products. The manufacturer adds that its ingredients are in a “class by themselves,” yet still, there is no mention of what these ingredients are. We feel that it is an especially unfavorable sign when a manufacturer seems to spend more time discussing what a product is not than what it is.

 | Lifestyle |
|
It is our overall belief that unlike men, women generally do not respond best to oral pill formulations. Because pills must past through the digestive system to reach the bloodstream, it may take a significant amount of time for them to take effect. In addition, pills may not be absorbed as thoroughly as topical products. We believe that for women, a well-formulated topical product applied directly to the clitoris is the most direct, effective approach. Such a fast-acting approach tends to result in an immediate rush of arousal, followed by lubrication and orgasm.
This pill formulation, however, acknowledges that it may take some time to show results. The product’s advertisement states, “Erosyn™ works gradually; it works with the body to enhance its own natural sexual health. Because of that, it is recommended that Erosyn™ be taken for 90 consecutive days, the length of the reproductive cycle, in order to achieve the full benefit of the product.”

 | Final Thoughts |
|
It is our opinion that while this product seems to take an ambitious approach to addressing various sexual issues, it is too broad in its objectives. To make assumptions across the board about “sexual pain” or testosterone levels seems like a flawed approach. We believe that the individual woman’s hormones and degree of pain should not be addressed through a “cookie-cutter” approach.
However, the topical stimulation of the nerve endings in the clitoris tends to be an almost universally recognized route to female arousal. For this reason, we believe that topical products that increase blood flow to the clitoris are the most effective approach. We have heard especially positive data about the ingredients Menthol, Shea Butter and Sweet Almond.
