This formulation may contain some of the following ingredients: Water, Propylene Glycol, Alcohol Denat, Polysorbat 80, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Arginine, Onithine, Turnera Diffusa Leaf Extract, Dioscorea Villosa (Wild Yam) Root Extract, Angelica Polymorpha Sinensis Root Extract, Serenoa Serrulate Fruit Extract, Cimicifuga Racemosa Root Extract, Arnica Montant Flower Extract, Xanthan Gum, Menthol, Sodium Saccharin, Disodium EDTA, Flavor, Citric Acid, Potassium Sorbate, Methylparaben.

We were deeply concerned to discover that this formulation contains Methylparaben, which is among the Paraben class of chemicals that are frequently used as preservatives. A recent study apparently claims that Parabens were found in samples of breast cancer tumors. One researcher states, “The presence of intact Parabens in tumor tissue shows that these chemicals can not only be absorbed through the skin, but can also persist and accumulate in breast cancer tissue in their original form, without being degraded.” These disturbing findings have led many experts to advise consumers to avoid products containing Parabens.

We also were concerned about the inclusion of Disodium EDTA in this formulation. Of the two forms of EDTA, which is apparently used in chelation therapy, Disodium is apparently considered the least favorable. According to one researcher, “The CDC is right to warn about the dangers of the wrong form of EDTA, the disodium kind, which depletes calcium and causes hypocalcemia, the condition that resulted in the death of the little boy in Pennsylvania.”

Rather than this laundry list of disturbing preservatives, we would have preferred to see more natural ingredients for female sexual enhancement. We feel that formulations that utilize natural components tend to be quite effective in enhancing the body’s responses. We have heard good things about the ingredients Sweet Almond, Shea Butter, Peppermint, Menthol, and Coconut. These ingredients are said to significantly heighten sensitivity, lubrication and pleasure. We also would have preferred to see some type of consumer testimonial for this product on the Website. It is our belief that consumer testimonials are an honest, useful way of hearing from other “real people.”

We feel that although this product seems to have the right objectives and approach, it utilizes questionable preservative ingredients that we do not consider necessary. Based on the potential adverse effects associated with these ingredients, we feel they should be avoided.

Currently, there are some excellent topical female enhancement products that are said to heighten arousal through natural ingredients, and without harmful preservatives. We encourage consumers to seek out hormone-free, pH balanced, Paraben-free products where available.
